Florence Mwarania is a Program Director at Global Integrated Innovations Africa. Florence has significant experience in agricultural value-market chains as well Strategic planning, Business and market development. Florence worked for the government of Kenya for over 30 years where she led many projects in Agriculture extension linkages and research and crops extension and management. She is well versed with programs dealing with Poverty alleviation, livelihoods and sustainable rural development and has experience integrating gender into mainstream development. At Sentum she was Principal investigator of several projects including COPPEA and Mile for the Brain that were funded by Grand Challenges Canada. She holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Agriculture from the University of Nairobi.
